ATELIER A.PUUR.A has a passion for textiles, textiles created in an artisanal way. We are constantly seeking out beautiful fabrics. Sharing the values of our sister company A.PUUR.A, we are committed to natural fibers and craftsmanship. We want to showcase the many beautiful textile traditions still alive today in India, giving you a chance to experience these with us. In doing so we can support the work of these artisans and small businesses, offering an important alternative to the current fast paced textile industry. 

Occasionally we create a limited collection of ready made items including cushion covers, plaids, bags and more.

ATELIER A.PUUR.A was born from a creative collaboration between Katrien Buyle and Valerie Tjantele. 

Bringing together Katrien's many years of experience in India with Valerie's deep knowledge of weaving. Guided by curiosity and creativity, ATELIER A.PUUR.A will continue to evolve: opening new chapters, one project at a time.

Our atelier-showroom is located in Antwerp's historical neighborhood Zurenborg. Valerie's weaving studio has been transformed into the new creative hub for ATELIER A.PUUR.A.
